Dakshineswar Kali Temple or Dakshineswar Kalibari is a historical Hindu temple at the bank of the river Hugli near Vivekananda Setu at Bairkpore, Kolkata. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Bhavatarini. She is Kali Devi. This temple is the second most famous Kali temple of Kolkata after Kalighat Temple. This Kali temple was built in 1854 by Rani Raasmani of Jan Bazar. This temple has 12 domes. 12 Shiva temples have been established around it. The famous thinker Ramakrishna Paramahansa worshiped Goddess Kali in this temple and attained the divine vision of the goddess.
