Lord Shiva is a supreme mighty god and there are many mythology behind it. According to Hindus, Shiva is infinitive power in the world. There are many names of Lord Shiva and thousands of temple of Shiva is located on the earth. Lord Shiva is worshiped in many forms. Out of which Shiva Jyotirling is mainly worshiped. There are 12 Jyotirling on the earth, which have a lot of belief, on the basis of which thousands of people go to worship these Jyotirling. It is believed that Lord Bhole Baba ji resides in these Jyotirling.

Shiva is a Sanskrit language word, which means welfare or auspicious. Dev Mahadev of gods is eternal and infinite. All gods and goddesses have stories but only Mahadev Shiva is unborn in the universe. There is no clue or story of his birth. He (Shiva) is infinite and the Universal power. He is the only creation of the world.

उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान् मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्॥
We worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva, the maintainer of this whole world. May Lord Shankar, who spreads fragrance in this whole world, free us from the bonds of death, so that we can attain salvation.
