Maharaj Ji was established on 15 June 1964. This Ashram is popular due to the stories of rich people's life experiences after visiting Kainchi Dham.

Neeb Karori Baba was born in the village Akbarpur, district of Firozad, Uttar Pradesh. He used to worship Lord Hanuman (Bajranbali). He came to Kainchi for the first time in 1961 and talked to his friend Purnanand regarding the construction of the ashram.
