Lansdowne is a town and hill station in Pauri Garhwal district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is a symbol of natural beauty and surrounded by lush green trees and plants, it is a place to fascinate everyone with its beauty. Lansdowne was earlier known as Kaludanda. Which means black stone in the Gharwali language. This is the stronghold of the Garhwal Rifles. From here the village situated far away can also be seen, which are very beautiful fallow.
