Guptkashi is one of the famous destinations in Garhwal in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand. This small town/village is located in Rudrapryag district and is connected to the most famous Jyotirlinga Shri Kedarnath Baba by road. For your knowledge, the last Railway Station in Rishikesh, Laksar, and Haridwar. The Helicopter ride from Dehradun to Guptkashi is the last option. But the helicopter rate is 20 times more than the normal.
Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is a famous temple located in Guptkashi in Rudraprayag district. This temple is similar to the Kashi Vishwanath temple located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
It is 2 km from Guptkashi. It is located on the left side of Vishwanath temple. Ardhnarishwar means a form of a half-female and half-male. It is a temple of God Shiva and Goddes Parvati.
Manikarnik Kund is located right in front of Vishwanath Temple. This is a sacred Kund, you can visit it once you come to visit the Vishwanath temple.
